Day 2 : Cycle the short distance to Bressingham Steam Museum or progress on to Banham Zoo with its amazing collection of animals. (Alternatively give Dad a treat and take a trip around England’s only Whisky Distillery at East Harling!). Complete the day near the historic market town of Wymondham which has a great all weather activity centre for the under 12’s and a superb heritage railway. Overnight stop in a child friendly hotel or an excellent farmhouse B & B.
Day 3 : Cycle the short route to the Abbey Station before boarding the train to ride the old 12 mile branch line of the Mid-Norfolk Heritage Railway to Dereham. Options to take in a game of 10 pin bowling at ‘Strikes’ adjacent to Dereham station before cycling on to The Dinosaur Adventure Park in Lenwade for some mega size fun! You will be collected late afternoon for a return to Diss. |
